Venture Engine

NOT SURE WHAT
TO REGISTER?

Tell us your planet and sector. We generate eight real company ideas — some plausible, some absurd, all registerable right now.

The Venture Engine has generated over 40,000 company ideas since we started counting. Roughly 30% of them were mining companies. Mars does that to people.

How It Works

FOUR STEPS.
ONE GIANT LEAP.

Takes two minutes. No prior space experience required. No crypto. No rocket. Just a card and a company name.

We looked into whether you need planning permission for a building on Mars. You do not. You're welcome.

01
Step 01
Search and Claim
Search domain availability above. Claim your .mars or .moon address. Low numbers are bragging rights. MRS-00001 is gone. MRS-01248 is still available. For now.
SpaceX got MRS-00001. They haven't acknowledged it. We're choosing to interpret that as enthusiasm.
02
Step 02
Pay by Card
From £9. Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. No crypto. No wallet. No seed phrase. A completely normal checkout with a completely abnormal destination.
We briefly considered accepting Martian Sols as payment. There are currently zero Martian Sols in circulation. We decided against it.
03
Step 03
Watch the Descent
No thank you page. A cinematic landing sequence plays. Telemetry. Satellite coordinates. Your beacon drops on the exact territory. A 5-second clip downloads for your Stories.
The descent sequence is more dramatic than most actual rocket launches. We stand by this.
04
Step 04
Permanent Record
Certificate by email. Company in the public ledger forever. Founding document in permanent storage. No renewals. No hidden fees. Just your name. On a planet.
Your Earthly business might fail. Your Martian incorporation is permanent. This is either reassuring or deeply concerning. Possibly both.
Platform Features

NOT A STORE.
A PARALLEL REALITY.

Four features that make OUTTERWORLD a legitimate digital property rather than a novelty PDF emailed by a sad server.

Feature 01 · Data Persistence
Orbital Time-Capsule
Upload one founding document when you register — a manifesto, a photo, a business plan. Stored in the OUTTERWORLD Permanent Record, mirrored to decentralised storage. Your data outlives your business. Your business might even outlive you. These are just facts.
Your Earthly business might fail. Your Martian incorporation is permanent. It is etched into the digital bedrock of the solar system. We feel this distinction matters.
Permanent · Decentralised · Yours Forever
Feature 02 · Live Planet Data
Atmospheric UI
The website connects to real NASA Mars Rover data. Current temperature, wind speed, and surface pressure from Jezero Crater — live. The Mars weather ticker is pulling real conditions right now. We did not have to do this. We did it anyway.
When there is a dust storm at Jezero Crater, the ticker will say so. We will describe it as signal noise. This is technically accurate and also sounds incredible.
NASA API · Live Data · Real Conditions
Feature 03 · The Hero Moment
Landing Sequence
No thank you page. When your registration confirms, a cinematic descent sequence plays. Telemetry text cascades down a black screen. Satellite zoom. Your beacon drops on your territory coordinates. A 5-second clip downloads for Instagram Stories.
We spent more time on the landing sequence than most companies spend on their entire checkout flow. We regret nothing.
Feature 04 · Signal Latency
Live Earth-Mars Delay
Every registration confirmation is delayed by the actual light-speed travel time between Earth and Mars — calculated from real orbital positions in real time. Your registration is not confirmed by a server. It is confirmed by the physics of the solar system.
We are the only business registry in the solar system where the checkout experience is governed by orbital mechanics. We think this is an advantage.

Senators Active

First 1,000 companies on each planet receive a Senate Seat. Every month, the Senate votes on a piece of Martian law. These votes are deadpan, occasionally absurd, and entirely binding within the OUTTERWORLD registry.

Previous legislation passed by the Senate includes: "All company names on Mars must be at least slightly dramatic." Passed unanimously. We're not sure what that says about our community. We think it's good.

Monthly Governance Vote
Real votes on Martian law. Should the working week be 5 days or 6? Credits or Sols? These decisions will matter when someone actually gets there. Or they won't. Either way, the vote is real.
Senate Chamber Access
Private community. Senators only. Weekly deadpan legislation. The most exclusive space program that does not actually go to space. We feel this is an important distinction.
Permanent Low Number
Your registration number is under 1,000. On each planet. Forever. The space equivalent of being early to Twitter, but with better governance and worse gravity.
Senate Vote · Session 001Closes in 6 Days
Should the official Martian working week be 5 days or 6?
A Martian day is 24 hours and 37 minutes. We are not sure this changes anything. The Senate will decide.

Testimonials

WHAT THE
COLONISTS SAY

These are real testimonials from real people who registered real companies on a planet none of them have been to. We find this completely normal.

JT
James T.
Software Engineer · MRS-00412 · Olympus Mons
Registered Boring Ventures (Mars Division) for my team Christmas gift. They framed the certificates. Best twenty quid of my professional career. Full stop.
James has since registered three more companies on the Moon. We asked him why. He said "portfolio diversification." We did not follow up.

Sarah M.
Startup Founder · LUN-00069 · Tranquility
Put LUN-00069 in my LinkedIn under company registration number. Three investors asked if I was serious. I said yes. I am now raising a seed round.
Sarah's pitch deck now includes a slide titled "Interplanetary Presence." This is either visionary or unhinged. Three investors appear to believe it is visionary.

Raj K.
VC Partner · MRS-00003 · Senate Seat
Got Senate Seat number three. Put Interplanetary Senator on my business card. Nobody has questioned it. I believe that says everything about the state of venture capital.
Raj voted in the first Senate session. He voted for a 6-day Martian working week. He is the only person in his office who works five days. We respect the chaos.
